With black beans as good as Havana and a Sunday brunch divine enough to skip church, La Isla Restaurant offers a mix of authentic Cuban and Nuevo Latino cuisines to make you jump off your seat and dance to their fast beats. But what really got my taste buds excited to boogie down was their Stuffed French Toast. After indulging on some amazing French Toast dishes at a few brunch hot spots such as Anthony David’s and Amanda’s, I thought I had already tasted the best of its kind. But what La Isla offers is some of the best slices of heaven ever to land in one’s belly. Warning: this dish may contain explosive burst of flavorful gooey goodness.
